Massive Traffic Jam in Kolkata, Ferry Services Across Hooghly Suspended
KOLKATA: Kolkata and Howrah diverted traffic from many central Kolkata roads due to the Bengal BJP’s march to the secretariat. To prevent the BJP workers from moving, the Howrah bridge, the Second Hoogly bridge, and the Esplanade were barricaded. For the uninitiated, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is protesting the TMC government’s alleged corrupt practices.
